Free school for visually impaired students from kindergarten upward, founded 1998 by Acharya Sri Rakum; residential, with higher-education support.

Run by the Mathru Educational Trust since 2001; free residential school for blind children, with a Braille transcription centre and vocational training.

Free education, food and accommodation for visually challenged children from preschool to Class X; also runs a rural training centre in Kanakapura taluk.
