Sri Rakum School for the Blind

Run by the Mathru Educational Trust since 2001; free residential school for blind children, with a Braille transcription centre and vocational training.

Free education, food and accommodation for visually challenged children from preschool to Class X; also runs a rural training centre in Kanakapura taluk.

Home and school run by Franciscan Sisters for the care, education and rehabilitation of visually impaired children.
